Bats are not to be expected and if they are, the host should not be hosting 😂

You are supposed to get a rabies shot if you wake up with a bat in your home. Their bite is often undetectable. Rabies is 100% fatal. ( a few people lived with severe impairments)

Rabies is 100% fatal what symptoms are visible woman needs to be given a rabies shot so as bad as it used to be, but it’s a lot better than dying of rabies and that host needs to pay for 100% of it. No, that’s are not normal. Part of any structure where people are staying, and after the woman gets her full refund and all her medical care taken care of that needs to be shut down so that no one stays there again and she report the victim needs to report them to the health department

I made a comment on your video. The amount of people who have no idea about bats and the extreme danger they put humans at is crazy.

It’s good to bring awareness to the fact that bats are carriers of rabies and their bites are often complying undetectable.

It sounded like the guest just wanted to make sure the bat was dealt with before someone else checked in. And the host was just absolutely insane.

rabies is considered NOT curable once you show symptoms.

The host doesn't get to decide if she'll be responsible for medical bills. There is some gray area, but she can 100% be held accountable

Its not for the HOST to decide what medical treatment the guest does or doesnt need, thats completely inappropriate

If you wake up & there is a bat in the room then you ABSOLUTELY need to go to the hospital to get shots!! Once you start showing symptoms you can’t be saved!

It’s wild to me that ANYONE would downplay even the slightest risk of rabies. I would much rather get treated and it not have been needed than not get treated and it be too late. The fact the VRBO host acts like it’s not a huge safety risk is crazy.

If the host isn’t worried about a bat, she can come over and remove the bat herself. My guess is that she’s seen the horrific rabies videos of people completely suffering all the way to death. Just awful!

To be fair, bats are everywhere. We’ve caught about four at my next door neighbor’s house. That being true she handled that poorly. We caught the bats with nets , never got shots. She should at least pay for the medical
