They surely need better wording to explain the latent space and residual stream. There’s no communication but rather shared context. The industry has been really bad at AI terminology. This is somewhat worse as without words is not accurate, word embeddings are tokens or words to simplify. It’s a bit messy explanation.

The group more accurately guessing the pig’s weight is how I understand weather predictions work. Many models run at once and the average is used.
