One Piece ngl can match the Big 3 in Novels when it comes to world building and story. And I read Reverend Insanity 2×, LOTM and LOTM COI, but haven't read SS yet. One Piece can be as politically deep as LOTM, but how Toei animated One Piece it kinda removes the dark message with colorful and playful animation style, while as for LOTM, especially during the war between Loen and the other country, or even the Great Smog, even without an animation, you can feel the weight of ordinary people in such hellish world, especially the Old Guy which Klein's informant whose dream was to eat bread and meat.
