take down your wallpaper on the opposite wall of your fireplace. it isn't copacetic to the theme that you're wanting to attain. also, if you don't play piano, I'm good at your piano and turn them into a sidebar for alcohol. keeping the keys and everything intact, but you'll have to gut it by cutting the strings and putting in shelving

It would be cool if you make your spiral staircase move across your library bookcases on a track system like the ladders they have in the big libraries that slide across so you can grab books on higher shelves.
