They brag about the GDP but won’t tell you that more and more people are becoming multidimensionally poor. They won’t tell you the number of businesses that are shutting down everyday. They won’t tell you that those whose salaries are below 200k spend all the money on just transportation. They brag about having a president who’s in charge of his government, but they won’t tell you that during the first four years of Buhari who was another catastrophic failure, only one school kidnap happened. But in Tinubu’s 3 years, at least 10 school mass abduction has happened. The ones I can remember oh. What does that make Tinubu? And some people are asking us to clap for him. Clap and support him for what exactly? For the children who are tortured and killed in the bushes under his watch while his government focuses on threatening people not to vote another party? Every achievement this government brag about is only recorded in their books. Go out to the streets, things are getting worse and no one in the Tinubu’s government knows when things will get better. It’s deeply troubling.
