I’m suffering at the moment. Think I’m going to go to the doctors to get some advice what I can take to relieve symptoms. On a completely different note.. can I ask what under eye patches you are using? Thank you

I was 36 when I entered peri, now I’m 46 and nothing has gotten better only worse. My kids hate the word menopause as they think I use it as an excuse (they are 21 & 29 females so watch this space) I honestly feel I’ve got a new element every single day. I’ve lost 95% of my beautiful red hair, dropped 3 stone, suffered a stroke now being tested for fibromyalgia. My youngest is on the spectrum and I work helping people out when I’m secretly dying inside. My only hope is that things will get easier so I can enjoy my life again.

Tried absolutely everything. The 3 stone weight gain has been the hardest part. Cutting out gluten has made such a difference

It still feels like there is no support for peri when you have ADHD. GPs know zero, there doesn’t seem to be any specialists in this

I’m currently off work with crippling anxiety have every menopause symptom going, my bloods show increase memo markers but the gp still just wants to monitor my bloods. It’s horrific!

I'm in peri, I have ADHD and PMDD. The mirena coil literally saved my life as far as PMDD goes. The nurse said it might help with my menopause. But I'm really struggling I'm just coming out of long term sick from work and scared I won't cope with the stress of it. I want help that isn't just HRT because it's not for everyone

I feel like I’m going mad. I’ve a PMDD diagnosis and I’m 99% certain I have ADHD but I’ve not ever been diagnosed so I’m sure some will say I can’t be sure. All HRT gives me debilitating migraines. My anxiety is so bad I won’t leave the house. Dr made me see the wellbeing people who just chucked antidepressants at me. They tell me I’m peri menopausal and I agree but won’t help me other than the nurse who gives HRT and of course that just gives migraines. My PMDD is so bad I’m literally wanting to die leading up to my periods and if a period doesn’t happen I get stuck in like a PMDD hole for two weeks after my period should have started. I’m a mess. Any suggestions on what I can ask for?. I’m 46.

I made an appointment for the doctor and didn’t even end up gojn. I read everyone’s comments on here and literally everyone gets fobbed off. It’s some kind of joke being a woman

my wife is not getting any help and I'm going to lose her. She's has had an ovary removed due to a bad cyst and the peaks and troughs are so extreme. normally we are great and she is happy and healthy then she'll go thru months of feeling nothing for me and a whole host of health issues which have resulted in 3 hospital stays this year. I'm devastated and so worried about her.

I’ve only recently heard of perimenopause after coming on this app. Doctor has never mentioned the word. I’m 54 and my mid forties were the same. I’m in hrt now and feeling so much better

More education on peri & menopause earlier in life is badly needed. We were given all the information on puberty but pretty much all we were told about menopause is your periods stop and you get hot flushes - it’s crazy! I’ve discovered so much more about peri from social media & I now realise I’ve likely been in peri a lot longer than I thought - frozen shoulders one after the other, brain fog, hair loss, new intolerances and this year my mood has been lower than ever.

im 43. started having peri symptoms from around 37 but it really kicked in hard with night sweats and waking up and all other symptoms from 41. I have been offered to go on antidepressants twice so far and ask why I keep refusing it
