That’s a lie! What the Bible DOES say, however, is that we are to be KIND TO ANIMALS AND TAKE CARE OFF THEIR NEEDS. (Proverbs 12:10)

Val Olafson :
Proverbs 12:10 says that a righteous person cares for the needs of their animals. Bible says we shouldn't have Lions and Tigers . nothing about house cats.

Valued creation: God created all animals and called them good (Genesis 1:24–25). He feeds and sustains them (Psalm 147:9) and notices even small sparrows (Luke 12:6). [1, 2, 3] Human stewardship: Humans are given dominion over the earth (Genesis 1:28), which means acting as caretakers and protectors of God's creation rather than abusers
