When Paul wrote, “whatever one sows, that will he also reap,” he wasn’t canceling God’s mercy—he was reminding us that actions have outcomes. That sin carries seeds, and even when the heart is made right, the ground may still bear fruit from what was planted. God can restore what’s broken. He can heal. He can use your mistakes to build a testimony. But we have to stop thinking forgiveness means we’re free from the aftereffects. You can’t plant weeds and expect roses. So what should you do? — Own your choices. Confess not just to God but, if needed, to others you've hurt (James 5:16). — Don’t waste grace—let it teach you. Forgiveness is the beginning of change, not an excuse to stay the same (Titus 2:11–12). — Be patient with the process. Sometimes God lets us feel the consequences so we never go back. Forgiveness is freedom from guilt, not a free pass from growth. So yes—God still loves you. He still calls you. But He also calls you to walk in wisdom.
