I am from an Italian culture, and it seems very common for men to have what’s called a “Gumada”. As long as he keeps her away from the wife and does not embarrass the wife it’s fine. I had a client who came to me looking very sad. I asked what was wrong, and he told me his wife died. I was so upset for him. He said, that’s not the worst of it. I said, what could be worst? He said~ Now the “Gumada” thinks I am going to marry her. 🤦🏻♀️

Very common in Latino families especially in past generations when women were SAHMs and had no way of supporting themselves and their children. The cheating man’s excuse was usually “soy un hombre” as if that was enough. Today more women have joined the workforce and are educated therefore capable of self supporting. They don’t have to accept this bad behavior.
