He knew she would chose him over and over because of the past. He said he got to look back on all his past lives when he first became a white lighter. He also always carried his mindset from his soul that was in the war who never had to be a good husband just fight in a war. He was never good to anyone. Every time piper made him take an accountability he fumbled it because he never had to in the past. Other than rule breaking I can almost bet the elders already knew that would happen and was trying to protect piper/charmed ones. He was selfish through and through.

facts. My fav season is 6 cause I loved the way Chris hated Leo. As he should. Leo was such a bad dad especially to Chris and I hate how the sisters basically told Chris to just get over his issues with leo like Leo ain’t the parent.
