unpopular opinion, boarding when they called family boarding helped a ton (i just flew solo with my 6 month old) because it gave us time to get settled since it was just him and i. i fed him on take off and landing to help with his ears! get silicone bungee cords for his toys and attach them to the tray table so if he throws his toys they weren’t getting gross on the floor. the window seat is nice because you can get the suction cup spinner toys- this literally entertained my son for almost the whole flight! also don’t stress if he gets fussy or upset- someone told me that people can choose to live a kid free life, but can’t expect to live in a kid free world🫶🏼 give yourself grace!

You need to bring his car seat & get a car seat dolly!! Best thing I ever did. You install the car seat during the flight that way you don’t have to hold him the entire time. The dolly will help you transport him around the airport like a stroller. Best thing ever!! 💕

get a breastfeeding cover that you can put over your neck!! i have one and just tucked the ends into the table clip in front of me and my baby fed, slept and i was even able to change him in my lap lol! we had suction toys to stick to window/seat in front of you.

I brought a diaper bag for my carry on with some snacks and things for her to play with. My daughter did great until we landed. It was a pretty hard landing, so if you can bring headphones or something, I’d do that too.

Oooh I recommend buying an extra seat, and buying the blowup bed. OORRR invest in the WayB airplane if they can hold their head up on their own. Baby wearing will save your life.

If his Car seat says it fits for airplanes I suggest flying in seat they feel like they are in the car. Bottle, nursing or paci take off and landing helps relieve pressure on their ears

Traveled with my 6 month old . Was so worried, but I did my best to keep from being fed in the airport only small amounts and then they ended up drinking at takeoff. One way and slept on a takeoff the other way because I kept them away as long as I could. They literally fell asleep as we were taking off. I brought my portable sound machine with me and turn it up loud enough for baby. Could hear it. The people next to me didn’t really seem to mind to be honest.

These teething tubes! I gave them to my daughter for the first time when we got settled in our seat so they were brand new to her. She lovedddd them!

Baby wear through security & the airport it is so much easier!! I use the hope & plum baby lark if you don’t have a carrier. Make sure to have a handheld fan too, it gets hot on there with a baby. I take 1 of her favorite toys (it’s a giraffe that jingles and if she’s not asleep it entertains her). I’ve flown a lot with my little since her dad works on the road so if you need more tips feel free to message me! 💛
