I’ve got 2 different breeds on dogs. One is a scent hound the other is an American Pitbull terrier. My hound can eat things that my pitbull cannot. Things that would make my pitbull sick as a dog won’t affect my hound dog at all. Somehow they just have different stomachs. A neighbor left a dead cow in the pasture to rot and my dog carried up behind a quarter of that rotting cow. I spent hundreds of dollars at the vet for my pitbull after they eat on that rotting cow and my hound dog never even threw up. It’s weird, different species or different breeds handle food differently.
