I was there that night of the three nights they filmed at the BM. Robin Wiliiams also talked to the real curator in the Kings Library that day to understand the objects and context for his character. The scene never got used. Later he joked with the Brit crew about having a tea break in the small hours, and got a round of applause for Dexter (Crystal) the monkey 😁 You could feel the respect he was given, a consummate professional and truly missed.
