@briirenae: 13 years later…🎓🎉 2013 I graduated high school. I left immediately and went to an HBCU. My sophomore year I got pregnant. May 2015 my child was born. I’m freshly 20 with a new born & a college dropout. I tried going back to school for something I knew I hated. I’ve always dreamed of being in the music industry but I was told that’s not a career I need to pursue because there’s a chance I’ll never make it. “Get a degree in something that’s actually gonna get you a job”. When I left high school I always looked at Full Sail University for Music Business because I’ve always wanted to be an A&R but trying to please others I chose a different route. Worst thing I could’ve ever done. Thru these past 13 years music has always been the love of my life. And TODAY, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music Business from Billboards Top Music Business School- Full Sail University ! I can’t preach to my child about chasing her dreams when I had given up on mine. So now, we’re chasing our dreams together ! #fullsailuniversityAlumni #bachelordegree #singlemom #fullsailuniversity
