@labskillsacademy: You can know PCR, cell culture, flow cytometry, and every lab technique on your resume… but these are the skills that actually help you WORK like a scientist 🧪 5 skills every scientist needs in the lab: 1️⃣ Documentation If you didn’t document it, it basically didn’t happen. 2️⃣ Data analysis Running the experiment is only half the job. You need to understand what your data is actually telling you. 3️⃣ Troubleshooting Experiments WILL fail. Knowing how to systematically figure out why is a skill in itself. 4️⃣ Communication You need to be able to explain your results, ask good questions, and communicate your science clearly. 5️⃣ Time management + organization Lab work is basically one giant scheduling puzzle 🫠 Because being good in the lab isn’t just about how many techniques you know. You also need to know how to think, communicate, organize, and actually work like a scientist. Save this for later 🙌
