He left me at my lowest point in life. My mental health was bad, taking meds so I don’t hurt myself, I didn’t pass my state exam, I’m working my ass off and on top of that he left me. But I can’t be mad at him. If all of that was too much for him, then he shall be with someone easier.

Love can have many different meanings based on the person, but I believe you are right. It's a sense of loyalty to someone regardless of their melt downs and tantrums, or shifty days. Being their for them and being their rock or person to lean on during tough times, show's commitment and emotional stability.
