We paid HUNDREDS of dollars for our son to play U10 intramural soccer. The league then put 17 kids on each team, when they only field 9 at a time (including the goalie. That means that half the team is sitting out at any time. On top of that there are only 5 teams! So on M and W, there is an entire team wo doesn't even get to play! WTF?! There were definitely enough kids for at least 1 more team. Side note, the kids are wearing jerseys with local business' names on them. What is the point of sponsors if we still have to pay hundreds of dollars?! 🤬

I know people who pay hundreds of dollars to put their kids in sports, plus you have to pay another $200-300 for each tournament, $200 for each new uniform as they grow.

i love skiing and archery but now its too expensive for my parents to afford and it caused me to get depressed. i really hope kids still get to enjoy sports without the parents strssing to squeeze money for their childern.
