you can't make an argument for the Sydney Sweeney commercial, her skin tone and body type is more favored by most people whether you like it or not. At the end of the day if you own a company and wanted to profit off your product then you'd advertise it in a way that's engaging to most people. At the time of this ad, Trump just won the election and it was one of those right place right time moments so these jeans immediately sold out

It’s also whose voice gets heard before a decision gets made. This is what we get when we roll back DEI initiatives because so many of these campaigns could have been avoided if the teams had enough diversity when the decision got made

Rage baiting to drop stock prices so the company can get a great buyback price. 😒 I hate it here

Marketing girly here who is also a golfer! I am positive they totally did this on purpose to get people talking and get their names outside of the ‘golf’ audience, leveraging controversy. The whole campaign exhibits intention of triggering the audience. I have been inside the golf industry for about 5 years now and you would not imagine the kind of “ideas” that the people who make the big decisions at the PGA can come up with… It is not an inclusive environment at all. Fun fact, they also operate as a “non-profit” believe it or not… 😬

Women have to spend money more strategically. Only buy products and use services from companies that treat women fairly. Trust me, they will feel the pain when you pull your money away.
