Actually that is exactly love. Hell is nothing else than the place without God. If you don‘t chose to believe and love him, out of love he respects that and leaves you at the place without him. As you wished. That is great love, because even though he would love to have you with him he is willing to sacrifice his own wish to make your wish come true.
