It started with one painting. Two years ago, I simply wanted to paint a female figure, and I was drawn to the visual beauty of Shibari rope against the body. But when I began searching for references, I found myself going deeper. I started discovering sides of Shibari I hadn’t considered before, particularly its softer, more intimate qualities. Suddenly, I wasn’t just interested in painting something beautiful and slightly provocative , I wanted to explore how ropes on skin could create sensation, trust, vulnerability and communication. That first painting became the beginning of an entire series. Two years later, that curiosity has become DIVINE ENTANGLEMENT and I’m finally getting ready to share the full collection with you.
