Physics 3 you mean modern physics? Conceptually think it’s harder than the other two but it depends on the rigor of your program. We had a shitty professor he mumbled and you could hardly understand what he was saying so I had to self teach. Think I got an A- but got A’s in the first two series of physics.

I always find it interesting how the physics intro series varies. My physics 3 was only acoustics/optics. Physics 4 was thermo/modern(nuclear/quantum)

Taking quantum mechanics rn as an ee major because I want to work on quantum computers for grad school, physics 3 is like a survey of a variety of sub fields of higher level modern physics. Its definitely enjoyable if you like the physics aspect of physics because the math isn’t hard at all, it’s a nice introductory exposure

How’s Phy 1? I have to take is as a major requirement but I’ve already taken calc 1-3 linear algebra and mathematical probability so I kinda wrote it off as a free 4 credits but idk
