I don’t understand why the juror who said he had doubt but wanted to say guilty doesn’t have any consequences happen towards him. He broke the law. If there is any doubt you must vote not guilty. The judge gave the rules multiple times. Why have alternates who sat through the whole trial to not replace him.

I’ve been seeing comments that one jury was holding onto a guilty verdict… but the judge and prosecution and everyone but the jury isn’t supposed to know what the jurors voted? If we know what they voted and it wasn’t unanimous it’s a mistrial
