also some doctors incorrectly diagnosis people with anxiety. my doctor years ago diagnosised me with it dispite the fact I actually perform really well under pressure. got a new doctor turns out it's just ADHD. very different. don't always trust what your doctor says. sometimes they are just lazy and want you to leave their office.

and if you have anxiety you think you have fake anxiety so you don't get treatment for most of your life and then when you do you realize you were in crippling pain from holding tension in your whole body your whole life and didn't even know that wasn't normal so yeah it wasn't fake [Tears of joy]

oh 100% overly diagnosed. I have adhd. always had it. no doc told me i had anxiety til I questioned it at 38. started thinking something wasnt quite right. ya. always question docs

I’ve heard from young family members that they experience anxiety, debilitating anxiety. I have no idea how to help them deal with it. But perhaps it’s not real 🤔 We may have experienced anxiety in our lives but we called it something else.

I got nipped by a fish and convinced myself i was gonna get some sort of fish rabies but didnt want to google it incase it said i was gonna die, worked myself up so much i tried to stand and almost fainted had the worst headache and thought it must be a brain tumour and i was scared to go to sleep incase i never woke. It was a stressful couple hrs
