Ended up in hospital for 3 months. By month two I had a box of really decent pens brought in by relatives. Best care you could imagine - so many doctors popping in to make sure I was good.

I worked as an accountant during law school, so I started buying mechanical pencils with my law school name on them so I could figure out who was stealing my pencils. I figured it out in the middle of the monthly meeting when one of the managers gave his presentation using my pencil. I loudly yelled "SO YOU'RE THE ONE STEALING MY PENCILS CHAD!" It was cathartic.
