I seriously need someone to teach me how to actually take notes on my iPad. I have tried and I have failed so I am in nursing school with a regular ass notebook and that notebook is running out of pages really quickly.

get a paper like screen protector! makes it so much easier to write on instead of glass. mine is a magnetic one and sticks right onto my glass screen protector

I love my iPad notes! But during lectures I take really messy notes on paper, then transfer them to neat notes on my iPad by rewriting them. Repetition helps with memory!

What has NEVER failed me: paper and pencil in class taking notes, then rewrite them all in another notebook, still paper and pencil, and reorganize the notes into a way that connects everything together. This way youre not studying 100 different individual things, but maybe a handful or two of larger concepts that can be logically broken down into their individual parts. Its a lot of work, but soo worth it

As someone who can be a perfectionist at times, I had the overwhelming urge to rewrite my entire paper notes. On my iPad I can just lasso and move. Also I can take pictures of important things and paste them right onto my notes.

I don't get why everyone insists on handwriting digitally. If I'm not filling in electronic forms I'd rather just go full-analog and write on paper. Not everything needs to be digital 🗿
