@thewildgreenway: As with all things, it was an expedition today to get to the local leisure centre for a well needed shower… but first we needed swimming costumes! Fortunately sports direct was only a 70 min round trip 😅 so having managed to “get the goods” (as no one says) we then went in to our local leisure center (actually only 6 miles from home) only to find we were missing swimming caps 🫩, ok “borrowed swimming caps - we can cope” only to get in to find we were also missing “deck shoes” 😭… Tbh we had given up on the swim idea at “borrowed swimming caps” (however wouldn’t have minded a steam and sauna 🥹…) ahh well, we will try again next week! (and go fully equipped!) and at least we had a good shower! #silverlining #ifatfirstyoudontsuceedtrytryagain #gladgame #gratefull #blessed
