@pittoplaylist: Mariah Carey — “Obsessed” (2009). Released as the lead single from Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, “Obsessed” became one of Mariah Carey’s most talked-about songs because of its sharp, taunting lyrics and the speculation surrounding who they were aimed at. In the visual, Mariah plays both herself and a disguised male stalker who follows her around, which many fans interpreted as another jab at Eminem. The combination of camp, humor, and shade helped make “Obsessed” one of the most memorable celebrity diss tracks of the late 2000s. “Obsessed” peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming another Top 10 hit in Mariah’s already decades-long career. #mariah #mariahcarey #musictok #fyp #music #musichistory #y2k #y2kedit #2000sthrowback #edit #viral
