This is so unnecessary! The judge had every right to remove the juror who failed to follow the law, and it is a tragedy that he didn't do so. The most important takeaway is that Lindsay was acquitted—Red won! The prosecution lost the case, and that is something they must reckon with should there be a retrial. They now know they didn't succeed this time, and must be prepared for the consequences of that in any potential new round.

Tbh I think 99% of the ppl saying she is guilty are thinking that she had already been found guilty and that the only issue in the trial was whether she was of sound mind or not.

I just don’t understand why he couldn’t have removed the juror and replaced with an alternate. Especially because the 6 alternates were still there as of today. This is just heartbreaking. And how, if there is ANY DOUBT, a juror can vote guilty in good faith.

Why not use the alternates? Isn’t that what they’re for? Weren’t they also there? I’m not sure how that works. I’ve never made it that far in jury duty selection.

I think the rogue juror was being hostile and the foreperson was asking for help on behalf of the other 11. if there's an issue with somebody not following the law, why would the judge not be able to talk to at least the four person? I feel like they weren't sure what they were allowed to write down but they were trying to ask for help. and because they didn't have any further inquiries into what was going on, that's why the judge didn't replace the juror. I feel like he would have if he had all the facts. do jurors typically speak out after? I would love to see some interviews lol
