It seems many of y’all are very confused. The debate was not if she was responsible for the deaths of her kids but if she was in abnormal state of mind when it happened or not. If found guilty it would be life in prison. If not guilty it would be due to insanity where she would be placed in a high security mental hospital that is very much like a prison. She would most likely remain there for life.
