@ankettskedia: Bigg Boss, Lock Upp and Splitsvilla are not entertainment products. They are attention products, and the people building them know exactly which button they are pressing. Psychologists call it Schadenfreude, the quiet pleasure of watching someone else get humiliated. Watching a rich celebrity cry or fight over something petty makes your own problems feel smaller for an hour. That is why the casting is deliberately loud, insecure and narcissistic. Conflict is not a side effect of the show. Conflict is the product, because conflict is what the TRP is priced on. Then the second layer kicks in. Watch strangers argue for a hundred days and you stop watching them and start seeing yourself in them. When they win a screaming match, part of your brain files it as your win. Every founder should study this, because it is the same mechanism your buyer runs on. Nobody buys the logical case for your product. They buy the version of themselves they get to be after buying it. Twenty years in B2B sales taught me that the pitches that land are never the ones with the best feature list. They are the ones that understand what the buyer is quietly trying to escape. If you are selling on features and wondering why nothing is closing, comment CALL. Free 15 minutes on finding the actual reason your buyer says yes. #business #founder #sales #salestips #b2bsales
