Definitely a bummer that people can’t keep it clean organized. Totally get not being able to donate and having to use it, but wish they’d contribute keeping it organized and presentable so didn’t all fall on you.

I can understand that not everyone can afford to keep it stocked or even add things to it, but it's sad that people can't even take the time to clean it. Part of having community resources is *being* a community and pitching in however you can and not relying on one person to do *everything* to keep it operating.

same our community never donated anything really except for thing they get in their food pantry boxes that they won't eat. it's frustrating.

maybe a small box with a sign thats says if you have a few mins could you please wipe down please remove anything open or out of date and please leave this here for the next person to clean as will put some paper towels wipes and spray

The downside to these things, is there’s always someone out there taking more than they need, I get people rely on things like this but expecting it to constantly be full and messaging is kind of messed up tho, I feel like people like her are the ones clearing it out if they’re messaging about it.
