I am a P&W singer and music teacher as well. I had to have sinus surgery. I had to be my own advocate for years because I would lose my voice every time I got a sinus infection. I did ALL the things. Did the steroids, deviated septum supposedly fixed, sinus MRI’s and always told there is nothing wrong. I finally had sinus surgery and it turned out my turbinates were too big and would not allow my sinuses to drain. Please have a culture done on whatever is living in your sinuses. I ended up with MRSA in my sinuses. I had to rinse my sinuses with a liquid antibiotic and an antibiotic ointment twice a day for 6 weeks to finally get rid of it. The good news is everything drains easily now. My ears used to pop all the time while I would sing because NOTHING could drain.
