So it's a hung jury. It's not the first time it's happened. He's allowed to not change his vote. If he thinks she's guilty, and can't be convinced Lindsey isn't guilty. It is what it is.

why is there confusion on this trial? this trial was over her pleading not guilty by reason of insanity. it's to decide if she was or wasn't insane.. not if she killed them or not. she told them how, what and why on that. she admitted her actions caused the deaths. that's been shown, she knows this. now it's about : does she go to prison or state hospital. she's not going free to start a new life. you don't get to go home after admitting to killing 3. you really can't believe that, you will serve time.

That one jury didn’t want to see Lindsey go free. So technically he got what he wanted no matter what. So with the mistrial Lindsey still will technically stay where she was,and with the same charges as before.
