I think you're forgetting something crucial. who is on social media vs what is being said on regular media, along with what is happening in Congress. if you look at Pew from 2024, the dominant form of news for voters is television. there, you'll see the most watched news shows have spoken about Piker more than medicare for all as a core topic. they're not on the shows talking about policy. Jefferies who will likely be speaker of the house isn't out there talking about affordable housing and real policy, he's beefing with piker

Guys we all know there is more to the democrats and how they message to the base and voters than just the Democratic Party social media pages. They go tv, they do interviews, they have personal social media pages, etc. it is a lie to say they aren’t talking a lot about Piker these days.

What about the U.S. House of Representatives voted 220–192 to adopt a resolution condemning socialism, with eight Democrats crossing party lines to join all voting Republicans? That seems like a pretty formal rebuke of the progressive movement (and thus HP).
