I got approved so fast at the humane society by my house bc I said "my boy cat is depressed since his sister died and I'm worried he needs a companion or he isn't gonna be okay" and then when they asked me how old he was I said seventeen and that I'd had him his whole life and his sister that passed was fifteen and I had also had her for her whole life. I was told I'm the ideal adopter. I used to work for a cat rescue so that was good to hear 😭

i was interning at a shelter and got a message from a worker saying there's a dono at the door. i tell my supervisor she can keep working and i'll go receive it. well, i open the door to two GIANT bags of deli meat, too heavy for me to lift through the door and a man telling me to return his bags IMMEDIATELY. almost started crying

Aww, now I’m sad. I was “attacked” by a cat at the shelter I wanted to adopt… I really hope it wasn’t my fault… or I didn’t inconvenience the shelter people. They were very nice and helpful! 😭
