Chairs and a human sitting take up 3’ you just don’t have the space. Banquette with a cafe table maybe and you could bring a bigger table out when you host. But you’ll be walking around this table all day everyday

Hear me out, you cannot get in and out of that sofa seat because of the four legs of the table. You will have to move the table to get in. Trust me I had the same issue in my house

it doesn’t work really but everyone keeps telling you that and you persist 🙃 so ultimately you’re not going to be satisfied until you try it and end up hating it or loving it. however this is still only 4 person seating. comfortably, anyway.

You really want a more pedestal style table because it will be so hard to get in and out of that banquet. I would also have a much smaller table for everyday life to can extend

I have the Thelma Settee in a different fabric and it works great with a round cafe table! I do love the FB table so much, but it will be hard for people to get in and out of the bench seat with a table leg in the way. Pedestal tables work best with these seating arrangements for small spaces!

The dining options look very farm house/country but the rest of your house looks more coastal. I would go for more of a pottery barn/ costal vibe for your table/chairs

I like the concept, but the style of that table doesn't match your beachy cottage. It's more country cottage.

I think you should do it! Yes, it’s a bit crowded. However, it’s extremely functional and something that you need as a family. Also, the rest of your house is open and not crowded so that makes a difference.
