Should I use a Robo Roth IRA through SoFi or learn to invest and pick stocks myself?

If I have a Roth 401k, is that close enough?

Hi! My company is now providing a Roth 401k option with the match. So, for obvious reasons, I have stopped contributing to the tax deferred and putting the max match +1% increase every time I get a raise. My question is, do you think it’s beneficial to also have the Roth IRA along with the Roth 401k option? I feel like there should be multiple eggs in different baskets, right?

Yes. please do a video on taxes and write offs. Difference between deductions and credits. Also, modified adjusted gross income? which income is used to determine limit on IRA contributions?

Are there income limits for Roth IRA accounts? Can you have more than 1 Roth IRA account? What do you recommend for 55 yr old than makes $200k /yr, that plans on working for 15 more years but needs catch up accounts

My employer doesn’t offer a 401k match, is it worth still putting money into that account every paycheck?

Most 401(k) plans allow Roth contributions now. If your plan does not, you should ask your employer about it. You have higher contribution limits in a 401(k) plan that you do in a Roth IRA, and the costs may be a lot less in a 401(k) plan.

I'm lucky in that my company offers a 10% match. Unlucky in that my ex took everything I had and am behind the 8 ball big time. Gonna look into the Roth for sure!
