True story I caught laryngitis last week and couldn’t speak for 7 straight days! It reminded me of the power of storytelling and how GoPro lost 9.8 billion dollars all because they lost their story

Backround by @𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐨 #uk #irishunification #scottishindependence #welshindependance #politics As of 14 September 2026, the possibility of the United Kingdom breaking up is receiving unusually serious political attention. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are all currently led by parties that support greater self-determination, and their leaders have now signed an agreement calling for the right to hold independence or reunification referendums. Scotland is the most significant challenge, with the SNP pushing for another independence referendum, while Wales has seen growing support for independence under Plaid Cymru. In Northern Ireland, Sinn Féin is pushing towards a future referendum on Irish reunification, although the UK government says there is currently insufficient public support for one. Despite this momentum, Westminster remains opposed to a Scottish independence referendum, and any breakup would require major constitutional and political negotiations.
