I was told more than once there are many grand champions standing still in the pasture.I had a cousin and she as a young lady hauled show cattle all over from coast to coast to all major shows in her day. It always amazed me back then some of the tatics used. Ill leave it at that. As I look back from years ago animal showing has evolved to become like travel baseball programs for my grandsons. Spend spend spend and hope for a win. Have a good day and wish your daughter nothing but the best in the show ring.

I stand by you should always go look at what you invest in. We purchased one a few years back and when we got her had to look at her tag/tattoo to ensure it was what we bought. Never again.

I can’t bring myself to buy from an online sale. We’ve always bought Privately. What happens if the calf shows up after the sale and it’s not what they said it was?! We don’t have the money to go buy something else.

This happens too frequently in bull sale catalogs as well. Take the 💩 off, sure, but covering white, adding hair, adding length/depth, it's disappointing to see.
