Watch The Break Up - that scene where he finally gets it..and she says “I have nothing left”. It’s such a turn-off to finally see the effort ONLY when we’re so done. Pretty much nothing will bring us back. The trust is gone. And do you really want us back, or is it that your ego can’t handle rejection? I cried telling him that I’m scared because something inside me is changing after every time you let me down, I was actually grieving the loss of what I thought our lives would be, I could see what was going to happen to us, he was blind to the fact that I was infact beginning to dislike his dismissiveness of my discernment, I began losing respect for him. Together from 15-41, I divorced him 7 years ago… he sees now, we are two different people now, I’m a very aware, passionate, loyal person, he grew to be a man with different values to me, I’ve never looked back
