I see a lot of comments stating what is so hard to understand about the word “temporary”. I think it would be courteous of us to continue to work with them to obtain legal status vs. just throwing them back to a country that has been rocked by natural devastation and corruption. I think the good Lord would be pleased with us being helpers of one another. I know a lot of people feel like they drain resources but hard-working people that are trying to make a better life. We got to find some compassion in our hearts . Let’s not let our biases & our comfort zones cause us to miss the mark.
