I played padel for three months before I admitted, out loud, that I did not know how the scoring worked. You watch whoever serves and copy them, and nobody stops to explain it because everyone assumes you picked it up somewhere along the way. What actually fixed it was doing it off the court entirely. Five minutes at a time, the court drawn out in front of you, and a couple of quick questions at the end so you find out whether it went in or not. It starts with the court and the scoring and ends up on the patterns the pros play, which is a strange arc for something I did standing in my kitchen.
