The Speedmaster reduced is worth considering but it's not nearly the same. The chronograph is a weird module that causes the pushers to be on a different vertical plane with the crown and it's hard to service, among other quirks

I mean, that two-tone is a great looking watch. I don’t see Omega being worth the prices anymore, but I think that was at least nice looking

Not in my budget right now but I think they're amazing, none of the models that they had in stock obviously lol. I don't want a gigantic chunk of steel necessarily, but I think we have gotten a little overly precious about things being under 12 mm. a well designed watch can be thick and not bad

Are the new ones going to be cheaper to service, because all the pricing I’ve seen for servicing the vintage ones has me 2nd guessing. I really want a 2000 Schumacher (black dial), but keep not buying because of the service cost. I know omega has flat pricing, but independent watch makers typically charge a shit-ton more to service a reduced because of the complexity of the two-piece movement and how tightly packed everything is…or they just outright refuse to service them. 🤷🏻‍♂️
