@glowingwithgracee: NON-TOXIC BODY BUTTER🧴🧈 My mom has been making her own body butter for yearss so I thought it was time to share her recipe! All you need is a few simple ingredients and you’re left with no -toxic body butter for months🙌🏻 Recipe: makes 3 16oz mason jars (can cut recipe in half to make less) -1 lb shea butter -1/2 cup jojoba oil -1 1/2 tbsp beeswax -2-3 drops Vitamin E oil -Vanilla essential oil (optional: about 20-25 drops for the whole batch) Directions: -Leave the shea butter out to soften. We left ours in the sun to help it soften but watch it closely so it doesn’t start to melt too much -Add the beeswax to a double boiler and melt completely -Pour the melted beeswax over the softened shea butter -Add the jojoba oil and a few drops of vitamin E oil -Using a hand mixer whip everything for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and creamy -If using essentials oils add them now -Spoon into dry jars and let it set -Store in airtight jars in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.
