@helentaylorrr: i needed to get mum to talk me through the flipping as it was my first time lol x you’ll need: - 3 ripe peaches - 30g unsalted butter - 3tbsp brown sugar - 1x 320g sheet of puff pastry (to serve): - vanilla ice cream - chopped pistachios method: 1. begin by carefully slicing around the peaches and twisting open to remove the stone. 2. slice into thin wedges. 3. melt the butter in an oven proof large pan and add in the brown sugar. 4. stir around until the sugar has melted into the butter. 5. add in the peaches and stir around, frying for about 5 minutes or until lightly softened and the sugar mix is boiling. 6. remove from the heat and organise the wedges so that they are all flat on the pan (it doesn’t need to be neat!). 7. use the lid of the saucepan to accurately measure the size of the pan. just place the lid on the pastry and cut around the lid (2cm larger than the lid!). 8. carefully lay the pastry layer on top of the peaches. 9. tuck the pastry in around the sides using either a spoon or your hands. 10. preheat the oven to 200c and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy. 11. remove from the oven and place a larger plate on top of the pan. 12. using oven proof gloves, use both hands to flip the pan upside down so that the plate is now on the bottom. 13. carefully lift the pan from the tarte tatin and it should be steaming beautifully! 14. serve whilst hot into slices…top with vanilla ice cream and a handful of chopped pistachios. easy peasy xxx🍑🍑🍑 #EasyRecipes #peaches #tarte #baking #dessert
