Yo that’s such a good point. One soda per day makes crunchy people so weird but considering that I used to wander around bars asking strangers for dr*gs and cigarettes and just taking whatever was offered for free, I think soda is actually very good for me.

I work in academia. The emails we get from admin trying to show us how to integrate AI in our jobs is insane. They also just laid off a bunch of staff saying they were redundant. Nope. Just have the rest of us more work. I hate ai with a passion. It’s made my job harder in every sense.

My son just started college and one of his first assignments incorporates AI per the professor. Thankfully, the professor also gave the option of having a conversation and finding an alternative if the student disagrees with using AI. My son is that student.

just in case no one's told you lately (aka I haven't read the comments), I'm proud of you for not smoking amphetamines off tin foil anymore :) that's a fucking hard accomplishment; my husband used to do the same and damn it was tough watching him get clean so I shudder to think how it actually felt being the one getting off the gear.
