Problem about the car deal is that the cost to repair and maintain these days is insane. The labor costs alone are bonkers. I own my car paid off, but sometimes the peace of mind of a payment without costly repairs and maintenance is tempting to some. 😂😂

My car is paid for and I’m keeping it until it falls apart. I love to (remember this term) window shop. Uses up the extra time and I come away spending nothing. And I check the fridge, freezer and pantry before going to the supermarket with a running list I’ve been adding to for several days. My goodness I just realized I’m practically perfect 😂😂😂😂 thanks

I disagree with #3 mostly but I get your point. A well stocked pantry and freezer are a money savings. Shop sales and buy a whole (half or quarter) beef. Just don't buy stuff you won't use. And expiration dates on some things don't matter if it is stored properly (within reason of course).

We do grocery shopping a bit differently. We go in with a list of perishables and one or two things that we NEED. After that, we look for clearance items and good sales. If it’s an item that’s shelf stable or freezable, we stock up. Because my pantry is so well stocked, we rarely have to go shopping. We definitely don’t spend more than $100 a month.

We have rentals. It used to be the bigger the big screen TV, the sooner renter would be late. We aren't as tv dependant as then but I still think of it as a red flag.
