Did you start at a low dose? I just started taking the WeGovy pill and the doctor said it could take a couple months and higher dosage to start to lose weight

I’m 27 and thinking of doing this…wondering if you’re going through an online care provider like Fridays, Mochi Health, Gimme Care etc. or an actual primary care doctor who’s giving you a prescription? I’m trying to get it covered by insurance but it’s a process

I’m 5 months in and 34lbs down. I was 275 at the start, my insulin level was at an 11 and I wasn’t considered diabetic so I’m paying out of pocket but I’m so glad I started. My doctor also said I wasn’t fat fat bc all of our body compositions are different but I looked at him and said “dude, I’m almost 300lbs, I’m fat fat and it’s not good” so he got me a month sample of wegovy and then transitioned me to ozempic. I can tell you my energy is so much more, the food noise is down and I jog up the stairs at work now!
