If someone comes back, it doesn't automatically mean they love you more than before. It may simply mean reality became a better teacher than you ever could. Experience changes standards faster than advice. Now comes the uncomfortable question. If they returned today, would they be choosing you... or escaping the consequences of their own decisions? Think about it. Now here comes another one. Have you grown enough to recognise the difference between if they will choose you or escaping the consequences of not having you?
