It looks like the dream is over, the current era is moving quite fast and the institutions were kept outdated for so long to catch up...Trusting in the good will and decorum of the leaders only, it's a formula ready to fail at any moment and here we are because the so-called Check and Balance are working very poorly at best.

I watched democracy decay when the Biden administration was very lax on enforcing the laws made by Congress about our national sovereignty and leaving the border, essentially open for illegal immigrants to come through. I also watched democracy decay during Covid when people were getting arrested for being at the beach yet politicians were still able to go out to fancy restaurants and gatherings. I watched it further decay from censorship during the Biden administration, which has now been proven and confirmed by Facebook and Google.
